Happy Birthday Kailey!

Today is my oldest daughter birthday. She turned 17! Wow where on earth has the time gone. I swear I was just 17 and graduating from high school. I have to say....I love her so much! She is a blessing to me in my life! I feel lucky to be her mom! Here are some random things about her.

1. She is naturally beautiful. She doesn't like to wear lots of makeup and looks amazing without it!
2. She is good at anything she puts her mind to ie. basketball, running etc.
3. She loves to be crazy and silly
4. She is the queen of being indecisive.
5. She is great with kids!
6. She can be a great older sister and occasionally a mean one.
7. She loves Dr. Pepper.
8. She almost got stolen from me (see post a few months back)
9. She arrived 3 weeks early but still weighed 8lbs 8oz.
10. She is a very hard worker and not lazy when asked to help.
11. She is very real...not fake in the least...what you see is what you get.
12. She STILL refuses to read Twilight. Being a rebel
13. She is alot of fun to be around....especially when she is happy!
14. She didnt walk until she was almost a year and half...she walked on her knees for some odd reason...
15. She had her hair cut more in the first 2 years of her life than now! Thanks to kyle!
16. She does nothing wrong when it comes to school....it is all her teachers fault!
17. She is always good to laugh at herself! I love that!

Kailey...I love you! You are a joy to have in our family! You have grown in to a beautiful young lady! I am happy you no longer feel the need to get kicked off the bus at school, or write notes saying help call 911. You gracefully grew out of all of that fun and are now a beautiful, happy, talented amazing girl! I hope that you decide to stay close to home....dad and I will be sad next year when you will be moving on....Happy Birthday! I hope your day was special! We love you!

It has become tradition with my family that at Thanksgiving time we have a Murder Mystery Party. Julie is always good to find them so that all of us can participate. This year we decided to let the teenagers in on all the fun. So we sent the little kids down to the basement and started right in. The story was set in the 20's with gambling and mafia. It was a lot of fun. Everyone decided that we were going to dress up this year. So we went back to Mom's costume closet and went to town. I don't know what possessed me to think that I could squeeze in to this little dress that Marcie let kirstin borrow....but it was fun. The girls had fun putting on lots of makeup and jewelry....(side note...I was supposed to have a black eye...wanted to make sure you could appreciate my eye) The guys even got in to it this year. Chris and Rob shaved their goatee's into little ganster mustaches. I think everyone looked great in their costumes. This post has lots of pictures so if you don't have time...don't look! The teenagers had a blast too. They were a little confused initially how to play, but got in on the fun soon and were getting really in to it! So much fun! Enjoy the pictures....I should also note that there were extra parts that when some people died started playing those roles just to keep playing. Wanted to make sure that everyone knew spence wasnt a cross-dressing congressman!

We started off shocked that my husband Jim Ravioli was shot and killed. We heard of secrets, lies and scandal. We saw letters of evidence and tried to form our opinions of who killed jim. We conversed with each other hoping to learn something new that would help us.....or trick us into forming different opinions....It was hard to trust anyone...

Crime scene after crime scene....it was hard to figure out who was killing everyone...There could be more than 1 murderer, but we were here to figure out who killed my husband Big Jim Ravioli.....

So after a night of murder and scandal....who was the killer?????? You guessed it none other than......

REBECCA!

She fooled us all...my evil step daughter!
