family fun

We had a great time in SJ. The weather was amazing and beautiful just like I remember summer days being. We spent lots of quality family time together playing dominoes, baseball and all kinds of games. Here are a few pictures of us playing baseball and enjoying each others company. I was excited to get pictures of all of my siblings! We should have taken a picture together. I especially enjoyed staying up until 3 am just talking with my brothers and sister in law! We got to talk without interruptions from the kids and even got to watch the police all show up at the park in the wee hours of the morning. Fun times!

We had fun in SJ playing Iraqey Attackey....it was hilarious to watch!

My nephew Lawson graduated from High School. We drove up the day after kyle's graduation so we could support Lawson. It was crazy timing. Everyone drove down to kyle's graduation and drove back the same night so that they could go to Honor Day for Lawson. We drove up friday and got there in time to go to his graduation. Big difference from kyle's huge class. Brought back a lot of good memories for me! I love St. Johns!

The rodgers came to visit us from California. We love having them and always have such fun with them. They came out for Kyle's graduation. The visit was shorter than we would have liked but it was great to see them and spend some time with them!

Makenna had her piano recital. This was her first year playing the piano and it was quite the struggle. She doesn't really like to practice like she should. For some reason when the recital was coming up she practiced like she should and memorized her song. I was so happy and I think she was too. It was great because it gave her the little boost in confidence that she needed and now she is looking forward to next year! Thanks to Mrs. Spilsbury for her patience and kindness!

Kyle graduated from High School a few weeks ago. We had friends and family over before graduation thank goodness! Right as we were getting ready to leave it started to rain. Thankfully they let us still have graduation outside. We had lots of family who traveled to come and see kyle! We had good food, good friends and great family to help us celebrate.

Here are some pictures of the graduation. It was raining the entire time. The good news was it was actually nice and not hot. The bad news is we were soaked by the time the graduation got over. But with 805 students to graduate things went as well as expected I suppose. We are so proud of kyle. What a new and great experience as a parent to feel. I can't describe the feeling I had that night. Just very proud and so happy for him! He is amazing and I can't wait to see what he chooses to do in life! I am guessing whatever it is he will be great at it! We love you Kyle!
