A few weeks back we played Deal or no Deal with the youth. It turned out really fun and I think the kids enjoyed it. Of course all the laurels were the beautiful girls opening the cases! Some kids took this really serious while others goofed around. The point of it all...to have fun and I think we achieved that!
The yw did a great job with the booths at the ward Halloween party. Put some pictures of that up. Kade went as a fireman and makenna as a skeleton. Poor makenna ended up having a really bad reaction from the makeup that she had on her face. She woke up to a very swollen face and rash everywhere. It took like 3 days for it to go away. She wouldn't let me take a picture of her when her face was like that. Oh well...she got to miss a day of school and hang out with her mom all day! Nothing better than that!

I was lucky enough to be able to leave work for a little while and go to Kaden's school with him. They were supposed to dress up like a character from a book. Kade choose the book "I dare you" about a little vampire. So hence his cool costume. The school then had a parade and they carried their books and walked around the school for everyone to see. It was really fun. I am sooo glad I was able to go and help! They had a little party afterwards where they painted pumpkins, planted pumpkins, ate and did math facts. Quite the rockin party! I also had to put a picture of the tortoises just because I love turtles so much and their tortoise exhibit is the coolest. Right in the middle of the school....lots of big tortoises walking around!
Kailey has been coaching basketball at Fremont Junior High for 2 years now. It is the inter mural....not sure about the spelling....She really enjoys it and getting to know the girls. She had fun last year and decided to do it this year again. The money was a motivating factor. She gets paid quite well to do this. This year she really got in to it and made them all shirts, you can see those in the pictures...Anyways...they had an all day tournamnet with all the others schools around and guess who ended up winning?? Yep Kailey's team. She was very excited for them! So in one month she earned a metal in Cross country and one coaching the winning basketball team in mesa! Way to go Kailey....you ROCK!
