My oldest son Kyle turned 17 on Valentines Day. YES!!!! 17.....where in the world has time gone? I am sad that he is so old. Have I taught him to be self sufficient...will he be able to survive on his own? Does he know how to work hard? Can he manage money? All of these thoughts run through my head. I may have a lot more teaching to do possibly, but what I do know is that I have a really great son!
Let me tell you a little bit about kyle. Kyle is the greatest kid! I just love him. He has a very big heart! He really cares about peoples feelings and in my book that is the best! He is very smart....always has been. Studies come easy to him for the most part. I worry that he isnt challenged enough sometimes. He is very handsome! Blonde hair blue eyes. He has a hilarious sense of humor. Most people don't know that about him. But his always cracks me up. He is nieve too which cracks me up too. Some people may think he is silly but that is him and his humor and I love it! He doesnt judge people while they may judge him. He is a true genuine nice loveable kid. He can be on the shy side, but once you know him or he knows you he talks non-stop. He is really in to cross country and running. Pretty dang good at it too. Its those long legs. He ROCKS at guitar hero and Rock band. He doesnt require much sleep which is odd for a teenager, but he could go to bed at 2 in the morning and get up at 6 and be ok. I think he is going to make a super great husband and father someday!
I love how he talks in text....not really it bugs me, but is funny sometimes. I love how he would bear his testimony for months on end. I really was impressed since I can't even muster up the courage to do it. He is an amazing piano player. He can play for hours, and does! I had a sick friend who suddenly needed help with her baby...I wasn't going to be home for awhile and so I called Kyle and without even thinking about what he was agreeing to, he said yes he would keep the baby until I could get home. What teenage boy would do that? Really.....for having a teenage son at home I wouldnt trade him for the world. We do have challenges, but I couldnt ask for a better son! I love him more than he could imagine and know whatever he decides to do in life will be AMAZING! Love you kyle.....happy birthday!

Very cute! How do you do it. Such a range in ages with all your kids, but your family does so well, and is so crazy about one another. What a great mom they must have!
