Makenna's Baptism

Last weekend Makenna was baptized. I am still shocked that she is already 8. The weekend was a lot of fun. We had lots of family in town and lots of friends came to support her. My sister in laws and myself got up early saturday and started preperations of food for afterwards. I had fun visiting and appreciated the help! I can't remember the last time that I have gotten to spend time with julie and keirsten. Usually there are kids around to interupt etc...but it was fun to laugh and visit. Rob's sister bunnie came and stayed again for the week...she is thinking of moving out here so she was checking things out.

We made it to the church on time and everything went very well. It was so nice to have family around. I haven't been able to go home all summer and I have missed it terribly! I am glad that makenna realizes the importance of being baptized. She looked so beautiful and has been so happy since. I saved the dress she wore from when kailey was baptized. My mother in law helped me buy that dress for kailey many years ago. I loved it so much then, so I saved it. I was able to dry clean it and let maken wear it. Now I feel it has gotten its use!

We were lucky to have our families come and join us for Makenna's baptism. It was so nice. My whole family all came down and most of Rob's. I know that it was a sacrifice on both families parts and we appreciate them supporting her!

That is so neat. I'm glad a lot of family and friends came to support Makenna's baptism. I leave Tues. the 26th at 6 am. It's sad we didn't connect before I leave. BUT, I'll be back in December and we can go to lunch after the holidays. Wish me luck my last semester! YAY!

Thanks for saying hi on my blog! I don't think it's weird at all, we all secretly like to blog hop and keep up with people don't we?! When I would click on your name all I got was your name no link to your blog, but I just found it on Jaymi's blog and thought I would say hi back! How did you manage to get two boys and two girls?? I didn't get that luck!
