Homecoming 2008

Kyle asked Kristen to the Homecoming dance this year. They went with some of her friends and had a really good time. They went horseback riding in the afternoon and then went to dinner in their nice clothes (which I don't like) and then off to the dance. Kristen looked really pretty. Her grandma made her dress for her. Talk about talent. I wish I could sew that well. So after dinner in walks kyle and his date to our house. I was a little confused...but kyle had forgotten the tickets to get in to the dance. I chuckled to myself...he always forgets something! After the dance they headed over to the tuellers for some carmel apples. Stephanie thinks of the most fun things! He really liked that. In fact he just finished his apple a few minutes ago. I am glad that he had a good time. Funny thing I sent him to get his haircut earlier in the day. He came home looking like he did. I couldn't tell that he even cut it a little bit. Guess I will have to go with him next time!

HA HA! You are so NOT a city girl :) That's what us city kids do. We do a day activity, dinner, and dance. Normally we do that for Prom, not so much Homecoming, but you can do it for both. His date was cute! I hope he had a good time. PS He didn't get his haircut.

Good for him! I can't get Landon to go to a dance. He hates them, but I tell him that girls like dances and he really should be nice enough to ask someone. Boys!

So hard to believe you are dealing with dances and dating. I am not looking forward to it. It will be my turn next year.
