GIRLS CAMP 2009

Girls camp was a lot of fun this year. The theme was angel academy and our ward picked to be the "Charlies Angels". I of course had fun with this theme as Charlies angels was one of my favorite shows to watch when I was younger. The ward called a camp committee and they pretty much planned what we did at camp aside from the stake. It was really nice to just be able to go and enjoy time with the girls and not have to worry about being in charge of it. As always camp went by way too fast. Living in the city does have the perks of cabins/addies, bathrooms with showers etc. Camp is nothing like it was for me as a girl!








Of course there were lots of pranks going on. They were all pretty nice and funny for the most part. I think probably the best one was the fart bomb that exploded in the leaders cabin at 2 am or later. We heard this noise and we were like what was that. We all just said the girls and went back to sleep and then a few minutes later we here the "pop!" Followed by incredible stench. We just sat there and laughed and held out noses in our sleeping bags until the smell went away. Pretty clever girls....







I have so many pictures from girls camp....there is no way I could ever put them on here. We got permission to start up a blog for Young Womens so I will be posting all the girls pictures there! Here are just some random fun ones from camp. The stake did the amazing race. It truly was amazing....and HARD! It was more difficult than the hike. I am proud to say our ward whooped the other wards coming in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th! Way to go girls and leaders!
