We went home to St. Johns for Christmas this year. It was so much fun to be with everyone. Christmas eve my brother butch had lots of fun games for the family to play. We played Family Feud which questions were all about random fact of the Nielsen family. The round off was Brothers and Sisters against each other. Kir and Fred were a team and Chris and I were a team. Of course Chris and I ended up winning.....by 1 point. We had so much fun reminiscing and just enjoying each others company. I had forgotten what it was like to be around family at Christmas. We usually have Christmas ourselves which we always hate. Christmas is about family and celebrating Christs birth and serving one another. Glad we were able to do all this year!

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the Nativity. The kids always have fun finding things to dress up in. I was happy to finally have my kids take part in it. It had been quite a long time ago with only kyle and kailey participating.

Christmas day with the kids. I am not too sure the older kids were happy about getting the things they did. It is hard to become an adult and love toothbrushes and curling irons for gifts from santa!

Love my nieces and nephews! Random pictures...

Lots and lots of time spent playing Rook. Everyone who played had fun. I had fun playing dominos and just staying up until the wee hours of the morning visiting with my family!

I love your family too!

Thanks for the clothes for Lauren. They are so so cute and she loved them. In fact, Kir brought them into my classroom and Lauren hid under my desk to try them on!

Oh my gosh, HOW FUN! My immediate family and I are HUGE Family Feud freaks. We even went to Phoenix last August to try out, but didn't get a second call back :( I love Christmas because we get to remember our Savior and because we get to have traditions and be with family. The gift giving is just an added bonus. Anytime you don't go to St. Johns, come to our house! There's ALWAYS a party on Christmas Eve! Love your pictures! You capture the greatest ones.

It was fun to have you guys here. Wish we could all get together to play games and hang out more often. I cannot believe how much older Makenna looks now! All of the pictures of her just shock me, she's growing up so much!
