Friday was the city meet for all of Mesa Public Schools. They ran each class together, so all of the sophmores in mesa ran, all the juniors etc. It was nice because it is over at red mountain park just behind our house. Both of my kids did awesome. I think Kailey ran her best race of the whole cross country season that day. She ended up taking 9th out of all of mesa's juniors. Woo Hoo...she has had a hard time this year because her coach that really pushed her and helped her is no longer at red mountain. But lately these last few races she has been getting notes slipped to her from her old coach and they have really made a differance. SO thank you Coach T!
Kyle did really awesome as well! He has been running alot during the summer and really put in the effort for the season. He ended up placing 14th for all of the seniors in Mesa. Woo Hoo again! Kyle gets to run this weekend in the regional race. We hope he does as well there! I will keep you posted!
It was great because they both ended up earning metals which they both deserved! They were annoyed that I was taking pictures but I got them....thats all that counts!

My 16 yr old is in cross country racing with Williams Field HS. This is his first year! That is awesome to see your kids.
