Last weeks happenings

Since I can't sleep I decided to write about what happened last week. Nothing exciting but I am still posting anyways!

It was my first week to start back to work full time. I am so sad and upset about this, but feel it may be the best thing for our family right now. As it turns out I got cancelled and didnt have to work my 3rd shift. Woo Hoo! I am sure there will be more posts about this I have many feelings and thought rolling around my head.

Wednesday night I forgot to take my camera, so I have no pictures to post...so sad. We did a surprise canned food drive. People in the ward didn't know we were coming. We also broke up in to groups and had a race for who could get the most cans. I got to drive around the girls that I teach. I just love them. They are so much fun. I love to hear about what they have going on. We were convinced that we were going to win the contest. We gathered a lot of food....or so we thought. When we got back to the church we came in 3rd. So it was a great night because we were able to get a lot of food donated. We gave all that food to a local school who needed it. It was a fun night.

I babysat Beckys 2 little boys wed-friday. I loved her baby and how he would snuggle with you! I LOVE snuggly babies!

Kyle ran in the State Cross Country Meet on saturday. I will do a post on that once I down load the pictures. He did pretty good. I was really proud of him. I have to get my facts straight before I talk about it so check back for that post.

Rob took Kaden and they went to the dunes for the weekend. I kept my friend linna's daughter on Saturday. It was fun to have her. She and makenna were 2 peas in a pod. Kailey also decided to not coach volleyball and do basketball this year. She had a hard time deciding but finally made the leap and is gonna play.

So tomorrow I get most of the day to myself. Rob and kade arent coming back until tuesday and the other kids will be at school. i am looking forward to some time to relax....actually I have been working like crazy trying to find old classmates for our 20 year reunion. So I am sure that I will do more of that. Funny story tonight I was watching channel 15 news and all of the sudden there on the screen was my husband. I just laughed and chuckled...what are the odds. He did the report quite awhile ago and we had no idea it would run tonight. I thought it was very fitting however....the news started with the sad news about St. Johns...then rob was on doing his little part.....then it ended with live pictures of it snowing in St. Johns. In the back ground was my dads/brothers business. I just smiled. I loved St. Johns and am sad that so many people are hearing about it with such a tragic thing. So I am thankful for the week I had and look forward to what this week will bring!
