Remember the other day when I came home from a long day of work to find my lovely note above my bed? I was cleaning my room today and decided that it was time for it to come down. It was starting to fall off a little and the fan blows it around. So sadly I took my wonderful message down.....then I got a great idea!

I decided to sit down and write my little darling a note back. We have done this off and on...we sort of hide them for each other. But today deserved something special. So I sat down and started remembering way back when I was in 5th grade and learned how to make these cool letters. So away I went thinking how much fun it would be when she finds it. I took the time to make sure I colored it all pretty just like she did. I realized that it must have taken her awhile to make that for me with the rainbow of colors she used. The fact that she took so much time out of her day to make something so special brought tears to my eyes. She deserves the same....I took some time out of my day and came up with the coolest note ever. What do you think? I hope she loves hers as much as I loved mine! I love being a mom!

Once again, you have proved how sensitive, kind and compassionate you are. You are such a great mother. I love that you guys do that, and what a great example you are setting for her of how a mother should be, nurturing. You are an inspiration to me. Thanks.

Hey it's Autum. My big Sis. finally got me to start a blog. I'm on her page under Martin Moments. I love the sign your daughter made you. I can see how it would be hard for you to take it down. I also think it's great that you took the time to make her something special in return.

that's so sweet. i have all my little notes from my kids saved in a drawer because i can't bear to throw them away, and because i'm sentimental like that. the pure love they have is just one of the best things about being a parent.

You're such a cute mom. You are right though. That sign must've taken her forever. The detail. No, I'm not sure why my eyes swelled up the way they did. Did you see me with my beautiful glasses on Sunday? NICE!!
