Christmas 2008 part 2

We drove to St. Johns on Christmas day. We were planning on going the next day, but my brother called and got us all excited to head up so we took off. I am glad that we left then or we may not have made it there. It was snowing so hard between payson and heber. The worst was it was really foggy and so that made it doubly hard to drive in. But we made it safely. The next day it was snowing like crazy. I think it snowed for 5 or more hours solid. It was the best! I was so excited that it snowed so much while we were in town. That is how I remember a lot of my childhood memories was with all of the snow. We would go down to the park and tube on a hill that doesnt exist any more. I was happy to have my kids make memories playing in the snow. It is the best! I was so happy to be home and be with my family! We had many late nights of dominos and other games. There is nothing better than family time!

My dad (and his pope mobile) as we call it...hooked up some tubes and pulled the kids around the yard. They had so much fun! My kids loved the snow and had a blast in it. As you can see my mom even got on the tubes and rode with kailey. They ended up crashing but somehow my mom managed to stay on the tube! Hilarious!

The day after Christmas is was snowing so hard that we all decided to go over to the middle school and play a mean game of kickball. We had a really good time playing! We also played basketball, bump out and games of 3 on 3 or 4 on 4. I knew that I was out of shape, but seriously had no idea until I was playing basketball. I kept insisting that we play full court...everyone was like no it will be too hard. So we played half court and can I just say it kicked my butt. There is NO WAY that I would have been able to keep up. So needless to say one of my new years resolutions is to start taking better care of my body. I had so much fun playing again and would like to get back in to better shape.
